Quiet | lostinmyownhome's Blog

Been home from work for about an hour, the house is still empty, wife(?) took the kids down to see her parents.  Kind of nice not to have any noise, once in a while.  Wouldn't want it all the time, though.      Worked late last night, fixing a dig-in in the rain, got called in early today for a weld job.  Every little bit of overtime helps.    I've been setting my alarm clock this week, to make sure I wake my son in time for school.  Haven't used an alarm for years, usually I'm up very early.  I'm sure my internal clock will be back on track soon.    Think I'll go look for something to eat, haven't had a bite for more than 48 hours.

How are you sleeping these days? Did you get the trash out in time? Did the kittens get to the vet? I have never heard of anyone who works as hard as you. So many hours at work then home to do all kinds of things. I admire your dedication. I really do.

Well, I have been sleeping pretty good lately, I did get the trash out in time, but no, the kittens have not been to the vet yet. My daughter made the appointment, and got the date wrong, so we rescheduled for next monday. So the kittens are still climbing my curtains, and being a general pain. But they sure are cute!
